time.
I have made some magnets to remind everybody to eat what is good for
you.
You can purchase them for yourself or anybody that you think will
appreciate them.
For $2.00 including postage and tax. it is a good motivator. Makes you think before you eat.
My goal is to raise money to help a friend's son that has a very rare form of Leukemia. The medical cost are astronomical so I want to help.
to the left.
This week we have a healthy recipe.
Hummus is great for dipping vegetables and even spreading on a sandwich
instead of mayo or mustard. Give a great protein boost.
I use organic Garbanzo Beans and Organic Edamame
2 cups Garbanzo Beans
1 Cup Frozen Edamame (thawed)
1 tablespoon Tahani Paste
2 teaspoon lemon juice
Pepper or cayenne to taste
Put all above in food processor. Pulse until blended. Stream in 2
Tablespoons Olive Oil and then add enough lukewarm water until your
desired consistency. (I usually use about 1/3 to 1/2 cup.)
Put in 1/2 cup containers so you can grab and go in the morning. Makes
a great lunch or afternoon snack. This makes enough for 1 serving per
day for about 5-6 days.
Enjoy!!
